Sometimes I run across a man who walks around selling flowers off of local bushes lining the streets. He is always clean. His face, though he does not really talk, tells as much a story of life as the metal hook where his hand used to be.

God be with those who have no warm soft place to lay their heads at night. I know enough people who were once like that, now in AA who came to my rescue before I fell that far, for them I will always have a heart and stretch out to the streets when compelled to share the wealth of blessings I was given.Jess Mistress of Mischiefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14766848582303523764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8274150508216368140.post-63160034338549013672010-11-11T08:16:29.907-08:002010-11-11T08:16:29.907-08:00this is a touching write. So glad I did. Your poem touches my heart deeply, and your desire to have all the answers resonates with me. Sometimes helping one person in just a small way is the best we can do, and it's certainly better than doing nothing at all. You did that, and even better, you were able to share with your son through your example that changing the world starts with one small, selfless act.Pam Jarnaginhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13131749848888316164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8274150508216368140.post-36256398030745265822010-11-10T22:38:34.506-08:002010-11-10T22:38:34.506-08:00It made me look out and watch the beggar, across t...It made me look out and watch the beggar, across the street wipe out a tear rolling down...

Come along and join the challenge to think beyond...

visit the link
http://wizardmeetsvagabond.blogspot.com/2010/06/recall_11.html

and share your own imagination triggered by the image...the comment section is waiting for you....wandererhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17586404593878583897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8274150508216368140.post-43252116343415099052010-11-10T14:58:08.271-08:002010-11-10T14:58:08.271-08:00very heartfelt poem. lovely write!
